I have had the extreme pleasure to have Chef Josh Ferris as my Private Chef for a night as I was hosting friends and family.  His immediate presence and charm simply made the evening incredibly relaxed.  The 3-course plated dining experience was absolutely enchanting!  He started with an authentic bruschetta followed by a sous vide New York Strip which went tremendously well with a Ronfun mushroom risotto paired with a glass of Montepulciano Vino Rosso.  The closing touch was amazing; a very unique poached pear infused with red wine, cinnamon and orange with vanilla bean ice-cream and mint bathing in a red wine reduction sauce.  A delightful and memorable evening, I would sincerely recommend Chef Ferris.  He came prepared, maintained the utmost professionalism and demonstrated great finesse." - Francis C.

With that being said, I HIGHLY recommend Chef Joshua for any private occasion whether it is a large event of small intimate gathering. I hired Chef Joshua for a Holiday event in December of 2016.. He planned the entire event from start to finish so I did not have to do anything but show up at my own party. Chef Joshua was responsible for customizing the menu and presenting it with flair. Well, flair is an understatement. Not only was the food incredibly delicious, the presentation was beautiful and festive for our occasion. Josh Ferris is “THE MAN,” was the unanimous sentiment expressed by fourteen of our closest friends we hosted in our home for a 2018 New Year’s Eve celebration. Josh took us on a culinary tour of the Mediterranean with unique dishes from Spain, Italy, and Lebanon. The Spanish favorites included tapas with shrimp & cilantro, garlic and button mushrooms, and sautéed chorizo in red wine sauce. The Lebanon favorites included tabbouleh salad, shankleesh and string cheese, and kibbeh balls (lamb balls stuffed with ground meat and pine nuts). The culinary tour concluded with an assortment of Italian goodies including bistecca alla florentina, arancini di riso (fried risotto balls), charcuterie platter with aged meats and Italian cheeses, and fried polenta with scallops and broccoli. The final chapter to satisfy the sweet tooth for all party goers consisted of churros dipped in dark chocolate and baklava. All guests left completely sated and satisfied with a memory to cherish.  The kitchen and house were left immaculately clean, which made for an awesome recovery period for the hosts who sorely needed the next day to recover from a well-celebrated evening. We had such a marvelous evening at a dinner party for about 15 people by Chef Josh!  
The vegetables, meats and cheeses were all so complimentary to each other--the perfect pairings!  The entree of beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the signature dessert and drink of the evening were special, unexpected treats.  Coordinating decorations and table-scape were perfect for the Christmas holiday and a lovely added touch. Our party on June 9th, 2018 was a great success in small part because of the fantastic buffet dinner created by Joshua. Several weeks before, we easily settled on a menu for 25 guests via telephone and email. The day of the party, Joshua showed up in the afternoon, took command of our kitchen and began the process of preparing, cooking, serving and presenting the buffet. Everything was in place when guests began arriving, beautifully presented and entirely delicious! Then whie we and out guests were enjoying the dessert and after-dinner drinks, Joshua was busily cleating and cleaning up so that by the time the party was finished, there was nothing more to clean up and the kitchen was spotless. We really appreciate the hard work Joshua put into this dinner (and we only saw the work at our home…). It’s a pleasure to recommend him highly!

Josh was introduced to me by his cousin whom I met on a trip to Costa Rica. It so happened that I needed a chef and caterer as I was planning my husband’s retirement party. I reached out to Josh and from the first point of contact, it was a pleasure to work with him. He put together a wonderful menu that incorporated international cuisines to reflect all of our travel. He took care of all the décor as well, which was a huge help. The food was tasty and creative, and he catered to the gluten-free and vegan tastes of some of our guests with the menu. He also pitched in to help bartend between cooking. Our guests loved him and he was a great addition to the party. We will definitely have him back for our next celebration. -Betsy and John

Chef Josh went above and beyond! Truly as good as it gets. My husband and I hired Chef Josh to cater our wedding dinner for 27 people. The food was heavenly, plus Josh took care of little touches that made our entire night phenomenal. Not to mention, he is the kindest most down to earth, relatable guy you could ask for. He took time to work with us on the menu and other details so we could create a truly memorable and special experience for our friends and family.We are still dreaming about the food that Chef Josh made for us and our group.
